I don’t think many people expect these type of views from New Orleans. This was definitely my first trip there that involved needing to find family/teenager friendly activities and it didn’t disappoint. It was very hot and super sunny (not the best for teens). Yet we found lots of fun, great food, and a few places to cool off. What do you want to hear about first: . -NOLA Food Tour -Teen/family approved NOLA outings -NOLA local shopping & artists
There’s just a magic to New Orleans. I’ve always had a soft spot for this city and never been able to specifically put my thumb down on exactly why, but I do have a long list of many of the reasons. The history, the architecture, the constant happiness it emits, the food, the friendliness....I guess it’s the aura. . . . . I stuck out like a sore thumb in this white dress because it was Red Dress Run today. I’ve always secretly wanted to participate, but never followed exactly when in the year or happens. There was a little FOMO today, but it was still fun watching everyone else participate.
If you didn’t know, now you know. My favorite Poke place in Houston is hands down @seasidepoke. I love the variety of selection they offer and how fresh the 🐟 fish is. Plus, their Houston artwork is pretty baller. I had to stop by in #713day. What’s your favorite Poke spot in the 🤘🏻H ?
Slowly, but surely getting around to posting about my trip to the Pacific Northwest. I’ve been attempting to write up my blog posts, but life has gotten in the way. It’s crazy how one weekend you can be relaxing and getting in tune with Mother Nature and the next reality kicks in and your in a hospital room visiting and checking on a family member. Hug those you love and remember to tell them “I love you!”
Yesterday was beautiful. Experiencing and getting in tune with Mother Nature will always be one of my favorite things to do. Despite not being dressed for the cold temperatures and the unexpected rain, it was a magnificent day.
I’m just out here soaking up the Northwest region. In love so far and very full. Looking forward to the next three days and continuing to explore.
